Delicate negotiations with planners and local residents preceded the planning application for these low key units, which incorporate solar panels, water harvesting and a highly insulated panel system.

Materials (brick, slate and render), scale and massing are all sympathetic to the surrounding palate of historical buildings, and local people now even enjoy visiting the house.
