Community Clinic in East Africa

This is Ecotects response to an open international competition inviting architects and designers to design a paediatric community clinic model in East Africa that is sustainable, as well as culturally responsive in its use of local materials and appropriate to local skill levels.

Additionally, the model, created by Ecotects, will provide health education and the understanding of treatments, medical procedures and overall well being.

The construction of the clinic is intended to facilitate local training opportunities at various potential sites in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
