18th-Century Barn Conversion
This project transformed a derelict, 18th-century hay barn into a high-specification 6-bedroom home while preserving its original rural facade. The structure was meticulously repaired to maintain its traditional timber frame, complying with strict planning requirements.
Inside, a vaulted double-height drawing room with an inglenook fireplace opens onto a south-facing terrace. Exposed beams, oak staircases, arched doors, and full-height windows enhance the historical footprint while offering breathtaking views. Two single-storey wings house additional bedrooms and a kitchen, blending heritage with modern living.
