At ecotects we make no apologies for being huge fans of Japanese contemporary design, especially when they hug the surrounding environment in such a unique cellular design as this Japanese Book Cafe.

The entrance to the site announces the structure beautifully. The building is sympathetic to its environment, and does not interrupt the landscape, but exists alongside the surrounding ecology. The book café has recently been completed but it looks like it has been there for years.
